No More Burritos Before the Track Workout
Boy did I feel sluggish at track tonight. I blame it on the chicken burrito I had at 3:00. Track wasn't until 6:30, so I'd thought that "stuffed" feeling would go away by then. I was wrong! Fortunately, I didn't spew, but I felt the weight of that burrito as I ran two miles. Coach Al had us estimate our time for completing two miles. I figured I would finish in 26 minutes (13 min/mile pace sounds doable, right?) Nope, I finished in 28 minutes, 39 seconds and I blame it on the burrito---that's my story and I'm sticking to it.....

it's definitely the burrito! i once had a slice of greasy pizza for lunch the day of a buddy run and felt so sluggish. i guess we can never sneak one by the body. =)
