Cancer Sucks!

Just found out this morning that Brenda's (in the middle) biopsy came back with cancer. Brenda is a team honoree and teammate. Last year she was diagnosed with acute myelogenous leukemia (AML)and went through chemo and a stem cell transplant. Starting Monday, Brenda is back at UCSF for another chemo infusion, but what she really needs is a bone marrow transplant. At this point, no match has been found....so if you haven't registered with the national bone marrow registry, please do so!!!

Brenda has a wonderful husband and two adorable sons. Plus, Brenda trains with TNT and has completed an triathalon, and a few distance running events. Most of all, Brenda is an inspiration for us TNT'ers! I guess this is why I keep coming back season after season.
