Okay, I've completed a full marathon in 2005 and hiked the rim of the Grand Canyon in May of 2006, so now what? Well, its no rest for the weary...so I'm back on Team in Training's run team this summer. But I'm no fool, I'm training for a 1/2 marathon this time.

Fair Weather Only

Rain, hail, lightening....its only September--I think we truly screwed up our environment! Which is also another excuse on why I didn't make the Heather Farms buddy run tonight. Don't think that I've been taking it easy tho'... as usual, Scott has kicked my x-training up a notch. More jumping rope, core drills and heavier weights---plus sessions on the bike and elliptical machine.

This Sunday is Komen's Race for the Cure and I'll be running its 5K in the City. Another great organization and cause! My partner, Lori, has been "cancer free" since 2002 and will run this race with me. Yay!!!

I think the combination of glucosamine, chrondrotin and MSM is working--my knees are way less achy and the cracking and popping have decreased dramatically. It took about 6 weeks to feel the benefits, but to me, still better than downing the Advil.
